Just for my own reference, to install WHOIS client on your Centos 7 server, you need to do some extra step. A simple yum install whois or yum install jwhois could not work, as you could get the following error: No package jwhois available.

So, in order to be able to install WHOIS, type the following command:

Why does Drupal 7 throws 404 error (Page not found)?

There could be plenty of reasons, but I guess the reason here is a bit stranger. All urls looked absolutely normal to me. I am using Pathauto with clean urls on. So why only SOME users get the page not found error? While looking at access logs, it seemed absolutely random to me. Of course, I had no 301 or 302 redirection component in case of errors.

I also didn't display a nice and friendly page for 404 errors (I thought I hadn't any). Pretty ignorant, huh? Visitors were discouraged and left away without even bothering to use the search box.

This fictional dialogue could be real, and if you use some fancy operating system you're a lucky one. However, these pranks use social engineering by guessing you're using Windows, like 80% of the rest.

I'm 100% sure it's happened to you as well. Got a harrasing phone call from an unknown number? Of course you did. But did you think, for goodness sake, to report the scammer's number on a dedicated phone call complaints website?

Most of us use the Internet to search for a missed call or unknown number. If you report a phone call with a short comment, people like you will find out about your previous experience. Eventually, they won't fall into the trap.
